Citizens Organized for Reasonable Routes Enhancing Community Traffic & Safety non- non-partisan, nonprofit, member-supported public interest organization that promotes Traffic and Safety issues by influencing public policy decisions: legislative, administrative, legal, and electoral. A community organization dedicated to providing a central place to review Park Ridge Traffic and Safety issues with its citizens and their elected Representatives and City's management. To practice and promote the responsible use of our roads, traffic systems and resources. To educate and enlist citizens to protect and restore the quality of our auto and pedestrian traffic as one of our cherished human environments in Park Ridge. CORRECTS - Citizens Organized for Reasonable Routes Enhancing Community Traffic & Safety believes that citizen's pedestrian safety, auto safety and reasonable routes comes first in city traffic. That before adding a traffic signal or traffic signals which generates slow traffic, bumper-to-bumper traffic, traffic gridlock, traffic complaints, traffic crashes, traffic signs, traffic bottleneck, automobile traffic, traffic congestion, rush hour traffic, bumper to bumper traffic, traffic congestion, rush hour traffic and automobile traffic, that a Park Ridge Alderman and/or Park Ridge Aldermen, should require a traffic study to avoid this auto traffic scenario in Park Ridge, Illinois. Only reasonable auto traffic should be permitted to provide reasonable routes with traffic safety and avoid traffic accidents, traffic injuries, pedestrian injuries, auto accidents, traffic problems, which will also decrease pedestrian traffic in Park Ridge and thus negatively affect retail sales and our quality of life. We encourage Park Ridge citizens to register and for all voters to vote only for a Park Ridge Alderman / Park Ridge Aldermen Park Ridge Mayor that promises to ensure Reasonable Routes and City Traffic Safety. Today’s Park Ridge City Policy of waiting for citizens to first be injured, maimed and dead, while creating a serious crisis of traffic congestion, in traffic routes and hurting existing retail businesses, is unacceptable. CORRECTS holds itself out as an Open Forum to provide an opportunity for citizens and organizations to inform the public of events, issues or projects. This will allow you to report anything you wish to see addressed or answered regarding traffic anywhere in Park Ridge. Your input on this issue if vital to all of us. MaRous's Actions Cause for Renegotiations With Developer

Why our Interim Mayor MaRous Really Endorsed Tinaglia

A meeting was held today with the Journal’s management regarding CORRECTS and the whole matter of Parking, Traffic and Safety in our Uptown

I brought along all the legal documents and drawings to my meeting at the Journal, as well as pictures of the seniors living in TA2, counter proposals, how almost any  alternatives were better faster and safer, how the library parking lot will be overburdened  by providing 151 spaces to PRC and how the area would still need a minimum of 113 parking spots elsewhere if all of TA2 is successful. We also addressed IDOT’s concerns and problems both technically and legally. Also, discussed was why CORRECTS was started and that I could more accept an official who stole only our money from the treasury and did not place at risk the lives of our citizens and future of Uptown.

I informed them that Alderman Howard Frimark had told me personally, that the true reason Mike MaRous (Republican) told him he was endorsing Alderman Mike Tinaglia (Democrat) was because Howard went against his inferred instructions and had dared to get up and ask questions regarding PRC’s traffic and safety plan for TA2. Whereas, Mike Tinaglia who was also present at all the same meetings, followed orders and never once uttered a single question, and just sat obediently and questioned nothing on a $120,000,000 million dollar project subsidized by tax dollars.

The Journal’s management seemed quite struck by the fact that Mike Tinaglia was unwilling to ask any questions over something so significant as this. That it is a sad state of affairs when Alderman Howard Frimark is penalized by someone in his own party for fulfilling his duty as an elected official by asking pertinent questions.

In the end, the only reason that IDOT will not approve this flawed plan and that the Park Ridge CITY and PRC will be beaten in court, is simply Interim Mayor MaRous himself.

Had MaRous not pressured the council to ask no questions and even installed his own puppet employee on the Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z), who not only spoke up extolling the Mayor’s view to those on P&Z who were to vote and cast votes herself, but also put forth the successful motion to shut down any further public input to P&Z Public Meeting and then they illegally went ahead to vote for approval without examining two legal exhibits of substantial import at all.

Thus in the end, it was MaRous's driven single mindedness that set all into motion and will end with CORRECTS winning a clear victory in court. Had the mayor been reasonable we could not have prevailed against a lawfully completed contract.
